I’ve enjoyed Tokaido in the past, and Namiji looks beautifully designed as well. But….it’s a very similar game. Like, if I already owned Tokaido (it’s on my wish list), I wouldn’t buy Namiji. Despite my own membership in Cult of the New. I think I still prefer buying someday instead of buying a new, slightly different but unproven game. Delay upon delay, rude or no communication from the company during theOfficial Fast And Furious 19 Years Of 2001 2020 10 Movies Signatures Shirt. The funny thing is that mine was actually fine (other than the absurd delays). But watching what other people went through made me very hesitant to ever give Funforge money via KS again.
I backed the Tokaido KS and love all the addons and . Totally worth it. However, this is basically the same game. I’ve backed it for now but will probably cancel since I’m not sure the boats add enough new and interesting to make it worth having two of the same thing. That said, if you don’t have Tokaido, this is anOfficial Fast And Furious 19 Years Of 2001 2020 10 Movies Signatures Shirt. If those aren’t important to you, just watch Amazon for a sale on Tokaido. I totally agree. I own Tokaido and see no reason to buy Namiji. Maybe I am wrong, but this feels way too similar. Clearly there is an interested audience considering the number of backers already, but for me, it feels like rebuying a game I already own.
I disagree slightly. I think Tokaido was a where I felt I had very little agency as a player. There were some choices to make. But we were mostly creeping along toward death at the end of the game. Namiji fixes some of that with fun minigames thrown in to spice things up. It’s like trying to play Tokaido, Isle of Cats, and Quacks of Quendlinberg simultaneously. Which…does seem anOfficial Fast And Furious 19 Years Of 2001 2020 10 Movies Signatures Shirt. But also I could likely just play those other games if I wanted those experiences not tied into a linear seafaring voyage. It looks very nice, but I don’t think there’s a whole lot of games there. I gave away Tokaido because it was too simple. I wanted to like the name.
